In the pre-Christmas period, it’s not just the smell of mulled wine and freshly baked cookies in the air, but also the atmosphere of charity and sharing.

It is a matter close to our hearts to make a positive contribution not only to the environment, but also to the community. For this very reason, our young talents and their hard-working helpers baked cookies in December and sold them together with mulled wine in our hotels for a voluntary donation.

Thanks to this campaign in the run-up to Christmas, we were able to raise an impressive sum, which Cocoon München GmbH and Cocoon in Salzburg GmbH & Co. KG rounded up to an impressive €1,500 each. At the beginning of 2024, we were therefore able to hand over a sum of €1,500 each to the Munich Outpatient Children’s Hospice and, for the first time, to the Butterfly Clinic in Salzburg.

The children’s hospice in Munich is a facility that supports families with seriously ill children and provides a place of hope for those affected. The AKM offers not only medical care, but also psychosocial care and support at a particularly difficult time. Our regular donations will help to ensure that the children’s hospice can continue to carry out this important work and offer comfort and support to families.

The Butterfly Clinic in Salzburg is a facility dedicated to the treatment of children with the rare skin disease epidermolysis bullosa (EB). This serious disease causes extreme blistering of the skin and can lead to severe complications. The clinic provides specialized care and treatment for affected children and their families. Through our donation, we want to help the Butterfly Clinic continue its important work and offer hope and support to affected children.

We are deeply grateful for the support of our guests and staff who have made this fundraising campaign a success.
