If you are planning on staying in Munich for a few days, we recommend a wonderful day trip to the Partnachklamm in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The gorge is one of the most beautiful geotopes in Bavaria and was declared a natural monument as early as 1912 and has since then been accessible in every season.
After visiting the gorge, you have the opportunity to continue hiking or to rest in one of the beautiful, nearby alps and restaurants. An overview of subsequent hikes in Garmisch can be found here: www.auf-den-berg.de
The walk through the gorge is easy and also suitable for children and seniors.
By the way, four-legged friends have a lot of fun while exploring the gorge, too!
Food: Of course, you can bring your own snack, but you can also visit the Partnach or Kaiserschmarrn Alp for a tasty meal.
Costs: adults: 5,00 €; children and adolescents 6 to 16 years: 2,00 €; adult groups from 15 persons: 4,00 €; handicapped: 4,00 €; dogs: free
